FURTHER DETAILS

Long route

GPX

The route has undergone significant changes compared to last year. Look forward to an adventure that will take you to Pavlov, Velké Bílovice or Mutěnice. You will enjoy narrow roads, sections with cobbles or two "strade".

Short route

GPX

Do you think that a route over 100 kilometers is too much for you? We have a solution for you to enjoy the unique feeling of being part of a big event right in the peloton for the first time in your life, while still making it to the finish line without any problems.

We start the series like last year by giving away cycling experiences in South Moravia. Centre of action will be again in Valtice on Svobody Square. You will enjoy many more unique places of the wine paradise than last year.

Coming from abroad?

Here is more information on how to get to Valtice and where to stay.

Three formats: fancy ride, race and short route

Do you want to enjoy traffic free roads, a varied route full of beautiful places and relax at the refreshment stations? Then we have the fancy ride format for you.

Do you like big challenges and want to keep your coffee as a reward after crossing the finish line? Then choose the race, go all out and push the total time to the minimum.

At Pálava you can also enjoy the official short route where you can compete on segments. If you are interested in this option, you can select it as well as other formats in the SportID registration system.

Time limits

If you want to successfully complete the long route, you need to have an average 25 kph at the 38th kilometer. This is where the long route separates from the short route. At the finish at Reistna, 23 kph is sufficient.

At the short route you will be classified with an average of 20 km/h.

Classification

Participants of race ride for overall and premium/segment standings. The fancy ride riders choose this format because they don't need to chase seconds and prefer the comfort of traffic free roads. However, we do have an element of competition for them. They can focus on several timed sections on the route. The ranking of fancy ride format is based only these segments.

Who we are announcing

We announce and award the top three men and top three women from race. At the same time, another winners will come from the segments.

The fancy ride also generates top three men and women riders.
