The Road Classics series already knows the calendar for the 2025 season. The locations of Pálava, Klínovec and Ještěd will remain unchanged, but there are still a few new things waiting for the classics. The best entry fees will be offered to those who have managed to prove their loyalty during the short existence of our series.
As last year, participants will be able to choose between two formats. The standard race will satisfy regularly training cyclists who want to compete and enjoy the space to ride on traffic free roads. On the other hand, those who choose the fancy ride format will be able to complete the route without the stress of racing and enjoy the beautiful parts of the country. They will also appreciate the premium refreshment stations. However, they will still be able to race in shorter timed sections.
The composition of the stops will remain the same as in 2024, starting in Palava. The road classic peloton will head to the warmest part of the country on Saturday 17 May. Unlike last year, when participants could experience what it's like to ride a circuit like the World Championships, the organisers will opt for one big circuit. This will allow riders to ride through more scenic areas and experience new places. The local routes are not extremely challenging, but will offer shorter hills where training cyclists can test their form.
During the holidays, the peloton will head not only for the geographical but also the meteorological counterpart of the Pálava. It will take place in the Ore Mountains with the start and the finish on the highest hill of the mountain range - Klínovec. Competitors and jumpers will taste it on Saturday, July 19.
It will be the third time that Ještěd will be visited. Just like in the 2024 season, this stop will be the epic final of the entire series. The organizers have chosen the date of Saturday 20th September.
The first and most advantageous wave of sales of entry fees is just beginning and will end on March 31. In addition, the organizers are thinking of those who have shown their support for the series in the past seasons. They use the term "founder" for those who completed the first ever race to Jested in September 2023. The "Superklasik" award was given to those who managed to complete all three stops in the 2024 season. For them, the "early bird" sale is valid until December 9.
